Light in the Darkness

In a world growing darker by the day, true hope—the light we yearn for—surpasses all quick fixes offered by this world. This hope isn't found in self-help formulas or instant remedies, but in a man who walked the earth over 2000 years ago, dispelling darkness with His love. The Gospel of Matthew shines a light in this dark world, revealing the truth and hope found in Jesus Christ.

Join us this year as we journey the paths He walked, witness His deeds, hear His words, and experience the hope He gives. Let's seek and share the light of this hope with those lost in darkness.

What can you expect each week?

“Each week, you'll join a small group led by a dedicated and trained core leader who supports you throughout the CBS year. These adult core groups meet at our Murfreesboro campus, while the children (birth through high school) of these adult participants have in-person classes each week. For adults who are unable to attend our local class, a virtual core group is available upon request. 

All participants from grade school up receive a workbook covering the same Scripture study with questions that help guide them through the Scriptures each day. These questions are then discussed in the core groups and children’s classes by trained leaders. All leaders strive to guide the discussion of the Bible study, as we allow God to transform lives through the Word of God. We aim to make disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ in our communities through caring, in-depth Bible study, available to all.
